Community Day

Community Day is an outgrowth of our concern about the many needs in our community. We saw a need to create a program that would benefit those in need throughout this community with more than the donations we could give upon request. These non-profit organizations need the people of our community to be aware that they exist and if a citizen has a need that can be met by one of these groups, we get information out through our public relations efforts and through in-house promotions. This has been a “learning experience� for us. Each month as we sponsor a non-profit on Community Day, we received a tremendous education on the activities of the sponsored group. This has allowed us to bring together those with a need and those that are more than willing to help meet that need.
